An initial session is scheduled for an hour. Subsequent individual sessions are scheduled for one hour, typically with 45 minutes spent directly with clients. The balance of the hour is used for brief family updates, record keeping purposes, and collaborating with other professionals as needed.

Navesink Psychological Services is not an in-network provider for any insurance plan, however we will provide the necessary documentation for submission of an out-of-network claim for services. The rate at which insurance companies reimburse for out-of-network claims varies by plan and by carrier. To determine your out-of-pocket cost, call your insurance company and ask about out-of-network benefits for mental health services.

For testing/ evaluation clients, 50% of the fee is due on the first day of testing and the balance is due at the feedback session. Testing/ evaluations done to determine if your child has a learning disability or other difficulty may not be covered by insurance.

Navesink Psychological Services has made a commitment to the community to support families in need and a sliding scale rate is available in a limited number of specific cases.
